Windows Live Messenger comes with all of the Windows Live products. Messenger requires a Windows Live ID to work properly, however you wouldn't need one to use Photo Gallery or Windows Live Mail. Windows Live Mail can even support my Gmail account. Overall, Windows Live Messenger is a good free product from Microsoft that puts programs like Photo Gallery and Mail from Vista in Windows XP, and allows good support for many types of E-mails and items.
